Vinum Cellarium Members Weekends

 

Our Vinum Cellarium Members Weekends are held annually in September, at the Keith Tulloch Wine estate. The weekends are exclusive for Members and their Guests, including degustation lunches and dinners.

The Member Weekend dates for 2017:

  • Saturday 23rd September - Luncheon

Winery Masterclasses

Every September, Keith personally unveils new release wines to our members in exclusive winery and vineyard masterclasses. The masterclass is free for all members and their parner, and included 12-14 wines in vertical 'flights' across vintages, focused on varieties Semillon, Chardonnay, and Shiraz. When possible, masterclasses will include a barrel sample of an upcoming release. 

This is your opportunity to learn from Keith and ask him any questions about our wines. Each session spans two hours, including Q&A time, in which Keith welcomes discussion on his great loves of growing and making wine. As a fourth-generation family vigneron in the Hunter Valley, as well as experience overseas in France's Rhône valley, he has a wealth of knowledge and respect for the art of winemaking. 

The Masterclasses are complimentary to Members and their partner, with $50pp charged for Member's Guests.

Please allow for two hours, arriving ten minutes before the session time. Enclosed footwear and warm clothes are essential; the winery temperature is 18 degrees celsius all year round.

Cellar Door Lunch

After the Saturday morning masterclass on the 9th and 16th, light lunch is provided in the Cellar Door Tasting Lounge for Members, their Partners and Guests. Take the opportunity to pull up a seat on our tasting lounge balcony, enjoying the new release wines and food platters at your leisure.

The lunch is complimentary to Members and their partners, with $30pp charged for Member's Guests.


Vineyard Masterclasses

Explore the site and terroir of our vineyard estate in a two-hour tour with Keith. Enjoy a short walk, learning about viticulture and grape growing, whilst stopping at tasting stations to sample single vineyard wines and canapés. Keith's youngest and most formative years were spent working in Hunter Valley vineyards, and he delights in sharing the story of this work - part science, part agriculture - with our members. 

The vineyard masterclasses are complimentary to Members and their partners, with $50pp charged for Member's Guests.

Cocoa Nib Wine & Chocolate Masterclass

Join artisan chocolatier Aymee Slaviero, owner and creator of Cocoa Nib, in the Winery for a wine & chocolate tasting. Experience chocolate with the expert, matched with a selection of our wines. An absolute must for those who love fine chocolate. 

The Cocoa Nib Wine & Chocolate Masterclasses are complimentary to Members and their partners, with $30pp charged for Member's Guests.

Keith Tulloch Wine Dinners

Always a very enjoyable evening after our Friday masterclasses, we all share a relaxed Italian banquet dinner at local favourite Il Cacciatore restaurant over a few glasses of wine. Enjoy the genuine Italian fare and warm atmosphere while we reflect on the evening's activities with a selection of current release Keith Tulloch Wines. 

Pull up a seat and mingle with Keith, Amanda and the KTW team for $78pp, all food and wine inclusive.

Keith Tulloch Wine Member's Degustation Dinner

This is the ultimate expression of our new release wines. In September, multi-award winning chef Troy Rhodes-Brown will create a specially-designed five course menu for our wines at the showpiece Muse Restaurant, Pokolbin. Not only will we show off our best new wines, but we will bring along some aged beauties from the cellar, along with domestic and international premium wines. 

Throughout the evening, we will continue our long-running support of the Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI) to provide funding for groundbreaking medical research, by way of a silent auction. 100% of the auction's proceeds are donated at the end of the evening. 

The Muse Restaurant degustation with matching wines is $198pp for members and their partner, $220pp for member's guests. Numbers are strictly limited to 80 guests. 

Please advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. 

Coach transfers are available to and from the event. Pickup can be organised from your accommodation for only $20pp return by calling us on (02) 4998 7500 or by email. Bookings are essential. 


Member's Day - Muse Kitchen, Vineyard & Winery Masterclass

 Saturday 23rd September, 10am to 5pm

This lunch in our onsite restaurant, Muse Kitchen, is a great way to experience our new wine releases and local fine dining in a single day. Members can enjoy a two hour vineyard and winery masterclass, followed by a specially-prepared Spring degustation lunch with our wines. This day is limited to only 40 people. 

$165pp, and $185pp for member's guests, inclusive of vineyard & winery masterclass.
