Vinum Cellarium Members Weekends

 

Our Vinum Cellarium Members Weekends are held annually in September, at the Keith Tulloch Wine estate. The weekends are exclusive for Members and their Guests, including degustation lunches and dinners.

The 2016 Members Weekends were a huge success!

Winery Masterclasses

A Winery Masterclass is a structured tasting conducted by Keith. During the course of two hours, Keith talks about his wines, the unique characteristics of each variety and vintage, and his philosophy on winemaking. The Masterclass includes 12 to 14 wines in vertical "flights" across vintages, with varieties spanning Semillon, Chardonnay, Cabernet and Shiraz. When possible, masterclasses will include barrel samples of upcoming releases.

For the curious wine lover, this is a wonderful opportunity to ask and learn from Keith. With four generations of Hunter Valley family history in winemaking and viticulture, as well as experience in France's Rhone Valley, he has a wealth of knowledge and respect for the craft of winemaking. 

The Masterclasses are complimentary to Members and their partner, with $50pp charged for Member's Guests.

Cellar Door Lunch

After the Saturday morning masterclass on the 10th and 24th, light lunch is provided in the Cellar Door Tasting Lounge for Members, their Partners and Guests. Take the opportunity to pull up a seat on our tasting lounge balcony, enjoying the new release wines and food platters at your leisure.

The Lunch is complimentary to Members and their partners, with $30pp charged for Member's Guests.


Vineyard Masterclasses

Vineyard Masterclasses are an amble around the estate's Semillon, Chardonnay and Shiraz vineyards with Keith. This is limited to 30 members and their guests, and will run for roughly two hours. In these Masterclasses you will join Keith in the vineyard to discuss anything and everything about the art and science of viticulture, with some limited release wines and activities included. For those attending it is essential for you to wear flat, comfortable, enclosed shoes to be able to wander around the property on uneven ground (the vineyard masterclass includes an approximate 1km walk). 

The Masterclasses are complimentary to Members and their partners, with $50pp charged for Member's Guests.

Cocoa Nib Chocolate Workshop

Join artisan chocolatier Aymee Slaviero, owner and creator of Cocoa Nib, in the Winery for a 1 hour Chocolate Cooking Class. Experience hands on, the art of chocolate, flavours, textures and adornments matched with a selection of our wines. An absolute must for all who love desserts and fine chocolate.

$25pp for Members and Guests.

Keith Tulloch Wine Dinners

Friday 9th & 23rd September, 8pm

Always a lighthearted evening after our Friday Masterclasses on the 9th & 23rd September, local favourite Il Cacciatore Restaurant hosts us for a relaxed Italian banquet over a few glasses of wine. Enjoy the genuine Italian fare and warm atmosphere while we reflect on the evening's activities with some current release Keith Tulloch Wines.

Pull up a seat and mingle with Keith, Amanda and the KTW team for $70pp, all food and wine inclusive.

Keith Tulloch Wine Member's Degustation Dinner

Saturday 10th & 24th September, 7pm

Our Member's Dinner is hosted at the Hunter Valley showpiece Muse Restaurant by Keith and the family. Enjoy the unique experience of a specially-designed degustation dinner prepared by multi-award winning Chef Troy-Rhoades Brown paired to Keith's selection of current and museum Keith Tulloch Wines, as well as Australian and International premium wines. 

Since the first Member's Dinner in 2006 we have continued to be an active participant in providing important funding for vital medical research, by way of a silent auction. This silent auction is held as part of our dinner to support the Hunter Medical Research Institute, with 100% of the auction's proceeds donated at the end of the night.
 
The Muse Degustation with matching wines is $198pp for Members and their partners, and $220pp for Member's Guests; numbers are limited to 80 guests.

Our lovely team will organise coach transfers to and from the event. If you would like to be transferred, the cost is $20pp return and bookings are essential. Email or call (02) 4998 7500 to reserve your transport.

Muse Kitchen Spring Lunch, Vineyard & Winery Masterclass

 Saturday 17th September, 10am to 5pm

Members can join us for one Saturday only, where we combine the Vineyard and Winery Masterclass (see above) into a 2 hour program followed by a Spring degustation lunch in Muse Kitchen. This special day will be limited to only 40 members, who will join Keith, Amanda and the KTW team.

The Muse Kitchen Spring Lunch is $165pp, and $185pp for Member's Guests; all inclusive Vineyard & Winery Masterclasses.
